Geocache Description:

Aother discovery while out exploring. Terrain rating is conditional, when it's dry, it's a 1, but if it is wet....

HIGHLY recommend waiting after any sort of precipitation, it'll still be there after things dry out.

I took a turn off that went down to the shore of the lake. Out there was an island that had a thing on it. I couldn't tell scale so I didn't know what the thing was. Well today, after the CITO at the Fort, we came out he to explore the thing.

Neat location, that leads one to wonder why is the road built up (rail bed or Overland Stage?) why is there sandstone blocks (ranch house or Pony Station?) why was someone out here?

**Keep an eye on little ones, there is the remains of a cistern nearby and they can easily misstep into it**
