The co-ordinates given are not for the cache site, but are for a handy place to park.
This is our first cache and was set up to remind us of where we celebrated Martin's (AKA Morris the Moo!) 50th Birthday.
There are two clues you need to collect to be able to calculate the final cache co-ordinates.
Clue 1 - N 52 37.949 W 001 47.542
Take a seat with Florence and find out how many years she was the school mistress. This = A.
Clue 2 - N A2 37.942 W 001 47.A60
You need to find out how many men gave their lives in the Great War - 1914-19. This = B.
Final Cache - The final cache site is accessed via a public footpath, which is marked on an OS map, but not signposted.
It can be found by crossing the car park to the back of the Old School House restaurant and following the path keeping the edge of the woods on your left.
N A2 37.82(Ax2-B) W 001 47.2A0
The cache is a small screw top cannister on a key ring.
It is too small to hold anything other than a small log book.
You will need to take a pen.
Beware, there might be Moo's abound !
Sincere congratulations to lesley-tom for their first,
first to find on our first cache.
