A not so traditinal micro cache, so you will be looking for something a little larger than the usual 35mm type container. Placed in Thurmaston village. Parking is available and free of charge at the rear of the Thurmaston Memorial Hall next to the methodist church. A wheel chair ramp leads from the car park down to the grassy area by the canal, this is a tarmac path but the actual cache is located across grass so may be less suitable to wheel chairs in the winter/wetter months
Picnic benches are available and this is an ideal start point to do a day of caching around Watermead Country park.
