Geocache Description:

The start of the old Roman Road which runs right across into Buxton. At the beginning its marked off Elnor Land by the remains of a Saxon Cross.
This is one of five which i've now set running across the old road/roman road from Whaley Bridge into Buxton.

Cache is a small tupperware lock box, which contains log book, pen, and a few items to start the cache off.

This cache can be accessed by a narrow lane which can be accessed via car. However, if your planning on doing all five caches across the old roman road route, you can't do them all by car, and the two set near the Buxton end are only accessible on foot.
