Geocache Description:

This is a traditional micro situated just off the A418 bus lane. Ideal as a cache & dash as parking is available almost directly next to the site.

The cache is hidden in the small copse that lies in between the small brook and Coldharbour Way. Access is possible through the gap in the iron railings which hark back to when Star Lodge still used to stand: this was demolished to make way for the roundabout and Coldharbour Way. It now exists as a quiet haven and home to deer, foxes and even badgers, but sadly it's also used as a general dumping ground. Stealth is required as access to the site is next to a bus lane and cycle path. Parking is available in the small layby or carefully along the side of the road, but be aware that the bus lane is used by double deckers and also please do not park on the cycle path (I use it on my commute to work)!
**VEHICLE ACCESS IS VIA PEARSON CLOSE: ON NO ACCOUNT ATTEMPT TO ENTER VIA THE COLDHARBOUR ROUNDABOUT AND DO NOT ATTEMPT TO ENTER THE ROUNDABOUT THROUGH THE NO-ENTRY SIGN, EVEN THOUGH IT MAY SEEM TEMPTING TO DO SO...THE AREA IS MONITORED BY THE POLICE FROM TIME TO TIME**

You are looking for a key safe, disguised as a stone (at least that's what it's supposed to be: it actually looks a little like a mushroom)! It contains just a micro logbook, pencil, and a beautiful beaded bracelet (!) for the FTF: there is space only for very small swaps.
