SCHS Cache Series - Ames Little Cyclones Traditional Cache
Team_Schnauzer: The area around GZ has changed tremendously over the past few months. There is a new business nearby and the area is now subject to heavy traffic. The original beacon still exists but it has been knocked over and there are no other good beacons close to GZ. I'm going to have to put this one to bed. I will likely do another similar hide for this one since it is part of a series.

Quick P & G located on the south end of Ames. Log only so BYOP. Please place the cache container back as you found it when you're finished. You may have to use stealth in this area at times.
This cache is part of Team_Schnauzer's SCHS (Story County High Schools) Cache Series as a tribute to the seven school districts of Story County.
Welcome to Ames, home of the Little Cyclones! Ames Community is the largest school district in Story County (based on enrollment). Ames High School is home to the Little Cyclones and their colors are orange and black. There are several elementary schools in Ames, each one having their own unique colors and mascots. Ames Middle School also had a different color and mascot combination than the high school. AMS is the Gators and their colors are royal blue and Kelly green. They changed their color and mascot to match AHS when they opened the new Middle School in 2005. Amongst Ames High School's most noted graduates are ISU head basketball coach Fred Hoiberg and current North Carolina basketball stand-out recruit Harrison Barnes.
