Geocache Description:

Thanks to Night-Ranger and the Trail Dawgs for pointing the way to this wonderful trail. It's one of the most scenic paths in the locale, passing through areas carpeted with ferns and broad swaths of leafless trees that provide nesting grounds for countless blue herons, woodpeckers, and other fowl things. Evidently, Bigfoot lives in the vicinity as well, for each time I hike out here (which is fairly frequently now), I come to a marshy area and hear something quite large splashing through the water, just out of sight.

Since cryptozooligical horrors often appreciate scary literature (so I'm told), I've placed a Bigfoot-sized ammo can filled with creepy-themed books—including two that feature horror stories by Mr. Rodan his own self (Best of the Midwest's Horror, Science-Fiction, & Fantasy and Deathport).

Out here beneath heavy tree cover, coordinate bounce was very significant; the hint may help steer you in the right direction. Please be sure to re-hide the cache securely. Enjoy!

Congrats to robgso, FTF!
