A barbeque getogether in Colwick Country Park
We thought it was about time to have a gathering of cachers in this lovely country park. Lots of geocaches already around, but there may be one or two more placed for the occasion.
This event is open to all cachers and we would especially like anyone new to caching to join us.
Bring you own barbeque and food for a fun afternoon of caching, catching up and fun.
If you have a flag, bring it and fly it on the day.
Please take your barbeque home with you when you have finished, there is plenty of water around to extinguish it when you are done.
If you don't want to have a barbie, bring sandwiches or whatever.
We will be there from Midday and firing up our own barbie around 12.30pm and plan on staying until around 5.00pm
If the weather is wet this will be a sandwiches only event and the finishing time will be 3.00pm
You will know which type it is by looking out of your window on the day.
If you want to bring any outdoor games with you to play on the day, please feel free to do so. Ball games are allowed in the park.
There will be a quiz sheet handed out on the day with a prize for the person who gets the most answers correct.

There is water nearby so if you have younger children please supervise them accordingly.
Dogs allowed, they don't have to be on leads, however it may be polite to others to keep them on them whilst people are eating. Our three will be there.
Logging Etiquette: Geocache hiders sometimes go through a great deal of planning to place their caches. As a result, they'd like to hear your feedback on whether you liked or disliked any aspect of the hide, or if you feel that some cache maintenance is required. Single word, acronym, or emoticon logs may be easier when you have a lot of caches to log, but it doesn't tell the hider or other finders anything about your adventure (or lack thereof) in finding the cache. Please keep this in mind when entering your log.
