The Morgan Creek Trail opened on National Trails Day, Saturday, June 4, 2011.
Parking: is available in a new lot accessible from the eastbound lanes of NC54. The eight-foot-wide concrete trail goes East to Eben Merritt's pasture along Morgan Creek through a woodland corridor that James Taylor called "Copperline." The cache is just off the trail requiring no serious bushwhacking.
Bicycles are allowed along the trail but not in the pasture. Three caches are in the pasture: Toolshed, MNLoon-acy #3: Birdshed, and alat gudang
