This cache is a STORY EXCHANGE!!
Bring an original story, poem or prose, written by you
– or even just one of your favourites – and exchange it
for one of the stories you find in the cache. Stories for all
ages are welcome, just keep it family-friendly, please!
The cache is a large plastic box covered in black duct tape.
It’s big enough to fit a story printed on 8 x 11 paper folded
lengthwise, and then lengthwise again (i.e., in quarters).
I’d like to keep this an exchange place for stories, only.
But feel free to sign the logbook if you don’t have a story
to share.
And when you log your find on geocaching.com, I’d love to
hear about the story you left and/or the one you found, if
you’re willing to write up a summary or a section of the
piece when you log your find!
--------
I was inspired to plant this cache by the awesome Latitudes
Storytelling Festival. It’s a free two-day festival that
takes place every year in Victoria Park in Kitchener. People from
all over our community come and share their stories – for
adults and children alike – through a variety of media
(including theatre, spoken word, digital media, images and
music).
I can’t wait to hear about everyone’s stories and
poems!!
