I have to quote Mapachi's log below, as I couldn't have crooned it better!!! "You're nobody, til some budgie loves you. You're nobody til some budgie cares."!!! A Budgerigar is one of the smallest of the parrot species, and budgies are very intelligent. Some budgies (in the US they are often called Parakeets) have been known to speak as many words as African Grey Parrots. The species originated in Australia and the word 'budgerigar' means "good little food" or "good eating" in some Australian Aboriginal languages. Budgerigars make wonderful pets and need daily out of cage time and one on one time with their care giver. You will not find any budgies flying free here (I hope!), just a small container by a stream. The container is large enough to leave small swag, coins and TBs in. Congrats to Upsalquitch for the FTF!
