Take five steps back. Observe on the left Jessop Dad and Mom, years they were alive. And to the right observe the Poston Dad and Mom, years they were alive. Now that you have done all that it really has nothing to do with anything.

Add together Poston Dad, Poston Mom, and Jessop Mom. Next subtract Jessop Dad and add 3. This is your distance. You should now have all that is required to retrieve the cache.
