Your choice how to get here. Plane, Auto, Lambofeetee. Hence the WuFuDu. Walk Up, Fly Up, Drive up. NOTE: Would like to ask the next cacher to replace the log if possible. I moved out of state after the cache placement and all I would need to have done is a log replacement. If the cache container is damaged beyond repair I have no choice but to archive this cache. Please advise.
Even though I lived in Carson at the time of placement, I like to get out and about. So to that end, I'm trying to find little out of the way places to put caches. What better than out of the way little airports. Sort of goes with my aviation interests. Interests heck. I'm a aircraft nut from the word go!
I'm going to stay away from the major airports since those are usually pretty well covered. These little strips in the middle of anywhere tend to have almost nothing representing them.
I intend to fix that to some extent. Lord knows I've got enough containers sitting around the house to make a power trail!!
I am also going to try and pick a few abandoned airstrips in Northern Nevada. I've found a few but just need the time to get out to them.
CONGRATS TO TX-BOY for FTF! I'll be keeping an eye on the logs to see if I should change the diff but for now I'm going to leave it alone.
