The Newport area of cycle path, which is part of the national cycle
network, is a key link from the outskirts of Barnstaple into the town.
This area is a main artery through the Newport area, providing people
with green spaces together with access routes to a range of small and
large shops, a special school, primary school and secondary school,
and the town’s park & ride facility.
This cache is where we walk our dogs in the morning, it has a stream running along side the path.
You are looking for the Conery Gut Plantation, the cache is in a small lock box in the woods. There is a £1 for the first to find!
