FTF CONGRATULATIONS to Pugnuts and his co-FTFer weedwackerguy. At the end of the day they scored a nice empty logbook.
You are searching for a small, clear plastic locking container. The container is large enough for trinkets and travel bug and geocoins; it does not contain dog toys and treats as do the other two caches in this series.
The cache contains new geocoin for the FTF. If the FTF also has a young child, there is something there for her/him as well.
This cache is a single-stage reincarnation of the original multi-stage "Canine Triathlon: Stage 3 - Find" that had been located in Alpharetta. Constant loss of the first stage made the availability of the cache unpredictable so it was archived.
The area where the cache is hidden is near a new dog park in Canton that may be frequented by large numbers of dogs and their muggle companions. This park is also VERY close to a residential area and the way to the cache is in full view of the local citizens, so stealth is required.
NOTE: the adjacent parking area is reserved for dog park users only, so unless you are also bringing your dog to play, please be respectful and park somewhere on the street and walk to the cache. The park is unlighted and only open during daylight hours so, to avoid unnecessary concern by the neighbors (and police) about prowlers or drug dealers, I recommend that you ONLY hunt this cache during daylight hours.
The coordinates are the average of 200 samples taken on a Garmin GPSMaps 60 CSX. Your mileage may differ.
