Geocache Description:

This cache is part of the Armstrong County Geotrail.

-An excellent warm water fishery with large and small mouth Bass, Walleye, Musky, Perch, Crappies, Bluegills, Sunfish, Pumpkin Seed, and Trout. For more information look inside the cache container.

The geocache hidden at the posted coordinates is a regular geocache, however, it is also part of the Armstrong GeoTrail (ACGT), a project spearheaded by the Armstrong County Tourist Bureau and the Armstrong Rails-To-Trails Association. The ACGT utilizes the booming pastime of Geocaching and mixes it with history and tourism. We hope visitors will learn a little about Armstrong County, its history, people and unique attributes!

The caches are not the ‘treasure’ you are looking for, for it is the location and beauty of Armstrong County that is the true treasure to be found.

Please be mindful of your surroundings, do not disturb private property and respect the delicate nature of some of the sites. If sites are disturbed we will no longer be able to have a cache at this location. And please return the cache exactly where you found it!

This cache contains a paper punch which you should use to stamp your Armstrong GeoTrail Passport to verify that you found it. Please do not take the paper punch it is to stay in the cache!

When you have found a minimum of 20 ACGT caches, you will be eligible to have your ACGT passport validated and receive a specially minted ACGT geocoin. You must have your official ACGT passport with you when you find this cache in order to stamp it. Please visit www.ArmstrongCounty.com/geocaching.php for more information on locations where you may pick up and validate ACGT passports to receive your souvenir geocoin.

To have your passport validated (and in order to receive your ACGT coin) you must visit the Armstrong County Tourist Bureau M-F, 8am-4:30pm. Additional validation sites with weekend hours will be added. Please check www.armstrongcounty.com for updated information on this subject!
