Gehe auf die Fußgängerbrücke und genieße den herrlichen Ausblick ins Possendorfer Gebirge mit der Goldenen Höhe (dort liegen auch Caches) sowie nach Osten bis in die Sächsische Schweiz (sofern nicht von belaubten Bäumen verdeckt).
Lasse dann den Blick in die Nähe und nach unten schweifen, so siehst Du zunächst an der Einmündung der Meraner Straße eine Wegsäule.
Das angrenzende Gebäude ist das Grundwasser-Zentrum Dresden. Unter einem Dach sind hier Forschung, Beratung, Planung, Gutachten und Labor für Boden und Grundwasser vereint. Außerdem werden regelmäßig fachliche Fortbildungsveranstaltungen und Tagungen angeboten.

Go to the pedestrian bridge and enjoy the wonderful view to the mountains with the Goldene Höhe (there are also caches) as well as eastward into Saxon Switzerland (if not obscured by tree cover).
Then look closer and down so you can see the confluence of Meraner Straße a pillar.
The adjacent building is the Dresden groundwater center. There are research, consulting, planning, expertise and laboratory for soil and groundwater under one roof. There are also offered professional training courses and conferences.
