What would a visit to the Ruidoso area be without a walk along the Rio
Ruidoso? Ruidoso means “noisy” in Spanish, and this scenic trail is slated
to become one of the area’s favorite walking and biking areas. A project of
the Billy the Kid National Scenic Byway, the Ruidoso Riverwalk Trail will
be under construction soon.
