Easy to get to, this cache is on the lake walk (marked with Red Arrows on the Waymarkers). The terrain is a very easy track suitable for most people, and its not a far walk from Arlington Court.
This cache is suitable for wheelchair and buggy access.
This cache is located on one of the most recognised parts of the Arlington Court landscape. The carriageway that runs through this part of the estate, would have been the desired entrance for visitors to the Chichester family had it been finished. The key componant was the bridge down at the lake. This was never finished even though the bridge piers are in place. If you carry on down the carriageway, you'll come across the birdhide with one of the bridge piers just to the left as you enter the hide.
During April, May and June we ask that all dogs on this part of the property are on a lead, this is to protect the Spring lambs and ground nesting birds.
The cache is in a small Ammo box, inside is an envelope with everything that you'll need plus a small activity for you to complete is you wish to do so.
