A short hike (+/- 3km) above and through an idyllic valley with some spectacular rock formations and interesting historical sites.
You will need:
- Sensible shoes
- A good sense of direction
- A torch (flashlight)
- To read the instructions carefully in order to avoid disappointment
Children should enjoy this walk (ours do), but take good care of them between WPs 1 & 2. The route is not suitable for pushchairs or bicycles.
Start your tour at the parking coordinates listed and enter the forest by following the path along the left side of the church.
WP1: At these coordinates, you will find a bench. 30 metres south of this bench there is an old "marker" stone in the ground.
A = Checksum of the digits found on the stone.
WP2: N49°46.3(A)9 E006°21.(A+1)36
Look for a small container (0.15l). Solve the small riddle to obtain the coordinates for WP3.
WP3: You should now be near a signpost. On this post, look for the letter "B" followed by two numbers.
B = The sum of the two numbers.
WP4: N49°46.(B-1)(B-4)(A+1) E006°21.(B)(B-5)(A-B)
At this historic site you will find a famous Luxembourgish expression (motto) carved into the rock. Look at it carefully.
C = The number of DIFFERENT words found in this expression. (No knowledge of Luxembourgish is required).

Look for a blue and white letter on the rock.
D = Checksum of the value of this letter.
WP6: N49°46.(D-1)(C-2)(D-C) E006°21°(B-1)(C-2)(D+1)
Find a large painting on the rock of two historical figures. Look closer.
E = The initials of the (presumed) artist. Are these initials:
PG E=2
HT E=4
RS E=6
WP E=8
FINAL: Find it at N49°46.(E)(D-A)(E/2) E006°21.(B-1)(C-B)(C)
