Bushwhacking is involved. Consider your entry point carefully, some are going to be better than others. Hobbit and dwarf sized cachers should have help from human or elf sized cachers.

CM: Roll a D6 against your “find hidden” skill.
Level 2 Elf: I’m going to use my Device of Seeking to narrow down the location of the cache.
CM: Roll a D12 for your “use device”. Oh, hey, the park is full of muggles playing softball. Everyone rolls a D20 against their “sneak” skill.
*Yes, I know that D20 is the standard for skills checks. Maybe this is a clue about what is inside the cache and what you might want to bring along to trade?
