Geocache Description:

Quick park and grab in a small historical town located in Lowndes County.

In the 1840s C.H. Dasher and his son-in-law, James Wisenbaker, were the forefathers of the area that Dasher, Georgia now occupies. In 1913, a small flag station on the Southern and Florida Railroad was located in the area. It was named Dasher Station in honor of O.P. (Olin) Dasher who was the owner of the land in the immediate vicinity.

At the time of the establishment of Dasher, Georgia, seven families lived in the community. Today Dasher covers an area of 4.9 miles and boasts a population of 832.

This is a camoed bison tube--BYOP. Please replace as found or better.

Congratulations to TeamBulldawg for FTF!
