This is a cache located in a little old forgotten cemetery I found while coming home from Wallyworld. Turns out I also forgot to post this cache for several months. After checking to make sure it was still there I decided to finally publish this one. THE CACHE IS NOT LOCATED NEAR ANY OF THE STONES. DO NOT MOVE ANY OF THE STONES! BE RESPECTFUL!
The best parking would be either at the cemetery to the north of this one or near the hidden drive sign. You are looking for a small clear lock lock with a few trade items and a log.
This cemetery is far older than the one just to the north. Based on the dates that I could still read it seems that the last person to be entered here died in the mid to early 1800s. Please be very respectful of these historic graves.
If you would like to get a better idea of what some of them say I would suggest bringing along some wax paper and a crayon. place the wax paper on the stone and rub the crayon gently on the paper to reveal the long lost writing. This will not hurt the stones and may actually reveal some of the beautiful faded carvings. There is to be no night cache and please be respectful and practice CITO. Also please feel free to snap some photos of the various stones and any rubbings you make so that we may all enjoy them.
