Geocache Description:

This is a lovely little farm to site this cache perfect for young children and disabled. You will have to Walk through farm paddock to find this cache which is locked out of opening hours so don't bother looking any other time. Opening hours: Summer: Tuesday - Sunday, 10am - 5pm Winter: Tuesday - Sunday, 10am - 4pm Closed Mondays, except bank holidays.

This cache is placed close to an Olympic venue/race route, and will be disabled from July 11th to September 10th. Please do not seek this cache during this time.During the warmer seasons you will be welcomed by the horses, cows & sheep in the park. As you walk between them, the farm main entrance can be spotted beneath the trees. Inside the main farm there is the standard; chickens, pigs & Ducks, Kiddies favourite, rabbits and guinea pigs to the more exotic Llamas, peacocks & and even an owl. There is lots to see and learn. You can buy fresh eggs, there's a place to wash your hands and the toilets are always clean. I strongly recommend for young children and for the children at heart. Remember it is a farm so be prepared to get mucky but this is a farm that is completely disabled friendly just as the cache is;-) . The container is a magnetic Aluminium cylinder, 50mm Diameter x 150mm Long. The farm entrance is free so they always welcome small donations if possible. You do not have to enter the farm to find the cache but you do have to enter the park which opens at 7am Monday to Saturday and 8am Sundays. The park closes at various times around the year day light dependant, 4pm in winter, 9pm summer. See time table at entrance of King George's park. If you are driving here, there are two places to park depending on your driving route. Use either the main park one off King George's Avenue or the car park at the 'pyramids' off Stansfield road, Beckton. The cache should be easy to find & I hope you enjoy your short visit. BYOP!
