This is our 1st hidden cache, it is located on Carters Lane Bridle Path which is located towards the west end of the village of Long Newton and Burn Wood Forest. Terrain is bumpy in places and the field is sometimes used for grazing cows but mainly dog walkers, please ensure that the cows are not in the field before walking down. The ground can be particulary muddy in autumn/winter time. Cache is not suitable for wheelchairs or pushchairs.
Cache has been changed due to the original going missing. Size is small and no room for trackables please bring a pen or pencil.
Please note that parking is a must at the following co ordinates : N54 32.234 W001 25 259. Please use these co ordinates when approaching the cache either on foot or by car as they are located on a dead end road which is rarely used, only by locals. The cache is approachable from another location but parking here is not advisable as this is an extremely busy road approaching the airport + there is no parking along this roadside. Please close the gates when entering and leaving the bridle path.
