Der Letzte macht das Licht aus!

Der imposante Gebäudekomplex mit 76 Krankenzimmern wurde 1905 als Sanatorium am Berghang von Piotta erbaut und diente nach dem 1. Weltkrieg als Militärspital. Im Jahre 1919 wurde es vom Militär aufgegeben und 1921 vom Kanton Tessin übernommen, um Tuberkulosekranke zu Pflegen. Seit über 50 Jahren stehen die Gebäude nun leer. Aber der eigentliche Grund für den Leerstand ist, dass es in dem alten Kasten spukt

The imposing building complex with 76 hospital rooms built in 1905 as a sanatorium in the hills around Piotta and served after World War I as a military hospital. In 1919 the buildings are left by the army and in 1921 take by the Canton Ticino to maintain tuberculosis patients. For over 50 years, the buildings are now empty.
