St Johns Wood Church Gardens is a beautiful oasis right opposite Lords Cricket Ground.
It opens 8am weekdays and 9am Sundays and bank holidays closing at around sunset.
The cache is not at the co-ords, work out the clues to get yourself there.
It is hidden in a public space which could be wheel chair friendly. (there is a little step up to the final cache).
****************This cache is placed close to an Olympic venue/race route, and will be disabled from July 11th to September 10th. Please do not seek this cache during this time.************************
The clues take you around this lovely park. The start point gives you a map of the park should you want it.
It is possible to work them out by just walking around but you have to have a keen eye.
At the bottom end of the park is St Johns Wood Church.
During the Middle Ages, St John’s Wood really was a wood, which took its name from the Knights Hospitaller of St John of Jerusalem who owned the land.
Nearest tube station is St. Johns Wood on the Jubilee line which is five minutes walk from the grounds.
Bus routes 13, 82 and 113 all stop on Wellington Road which forms the western boundary of the site.
