The Big X is a great place to exchange travel bugs and other trackables.
The locals call the intersection of interstates I-80 & I-74 “The Big X”. There is also an interstate loop named I-280. It has long been debated which roads should have been named I-80 and I-280. Businesses on either route will tell you that travelers tend to stay on I-80, thus giving those along that route more business.
The north end of I-74 begins in the Quad Cities. I-74 extends south through Peoria, Campaign, Indianapolis, and Cincinnati. I-80 extends west through Des Moines, Omaha, Denver (close anyway), Salt Lake City, Sacramento, and San Francisco. I-80 extends east through Chicago, Cleveland, and New York. So if you have any trackables that need to go in any of these directions, this TB hotel is for you. Or if you are heading in any of those directions, please consider picking up a trackable and helping it on its way.
The cache is located about a mile from “The Big X” near the I-80 / US Hwy 6 interchange.
