GHeiny: Archiving this cache is bitter sweet. Chester's life is waning. Cancer is taking its toll. While most of my caches are being archived before I move, the sad reality is that Chester's move won't be with us. The cache is now gone. I'm cherishing every day with Chester until he must also go.

Recent events have resulted in charges being laid against Chester for his alleged participation in a variety of crimes.

He has been charged with roaming at large, escaping from custody when the new chesterfield was delivered. After running across the highway to harass some dogs, he was apprehended by a neighbour who enticed him with two Milkbones.

In the second count, Chester has been charged with refusing to return to his master when called. He purposely evaded his owner on the afternoon of May 29th, 2011 for over two hours after his master had finished caching at the Hymers Fairgrounds. O.P.P. surveilled the situation but left before the dog was caught.

The most heinous of Chester’s alleged crimes is murder. Team Poohma and D.N.F. have made statements that on Thursday, May 12, 2011, Chester was responsible for the untimely demise of a groundhog. Chester claims he is being framed because D.N.F. doesn’t yet know how to read or write, rendering the statement a forgery.

Since the aforementioned incidents, Chester has been kept on a short leash and not allowed to roam free. While Chester appears remorseful and has been well behaved while on the leash and under confinement, it is thought that if he were free, there would be a high risk of re-offense.

Sadly, Chester’s paperwork has been lost. All charges will have to be dropped unless local cachers are able to make the find. Enclosed is a profile photo of the accused. There is a reward of a toonie for the FTF who will ensure the charges stick.

If the paperwork is not found and Chester is allowed to roam free, you run the risk of encountering him off leash on the geocaching trail. Thank you for your part in ensuring justice is served.
