At the Gz you will find the Hastings Jetty and the Hastings Fish Shed.
The jetty was built in 1864 and over the next 144 years has become a very important part of the lives of Hastings families and culture of the Hastings township
The small timber fish shed on the Hastings' harbour jetty was used for many years to pack catches from the local fleet and is a reminder of the local nineteenth century fishing industry which was an important factor in the development of the Western Port region. The tradition of fish storage and sales is still continued in the shed by a local fisherman.
Cache is a Log Only Cache, so BYO Pen.
