Been coming down the gannel estuary for years ,basically grew up down here on the sand and around the boats, hunting for crabs and fishing as well as building sandcastles .
It was always quiet as there was no shops just what you took with you and your imagination. The holiday makers rarely came down here as they mostly stayed on the big beaches .
I have been wanting to put a cache down here fo ages but all the places I wanted to put one was either too close or someone got there before me oh! well
It’s a small cache located on the footpath with views down to the Boat yard .

The is some car parking spaces on Riverside Avenue and Pentire Crescent in addition to the small car park further upstream which gives the opportunity for a pleasant walk along the side of the Estuary. The nearest access to the Estuary is via Public Footpaths down 'Rubble Lane' track or down the side of a hotel by trevean way . Both of these are signposted.
