This is part of a series of 4 multi caches in Ludlow. This multi trail will take you up and down the streets and alleys of the town centre.
We suggest you call in at the tourist information office, a good place to pick up a map to help you.
As a bonus, each cache gives part of the co-ordinates for a bonus cache just outside Ludlow as follows:
N [town trail 1] [town trail 2]
W [chapels and churches] [town walls]
Ludlow was built as a planned town, protected by the castle, over 900 years ago. Now a lively market town, in the past it has prospered from the cloth and wool trades. A fashionable social centre in Georgian times, it is now famed for it's gastronomic reputation.
Ludlow is well served by public transport, road and rail and has good road links.
There is on-street parking in Ludlow, but it can be difficult and the parking wardens are very efficient! We recomend either the park and ride just off the A49 [Mon.- Sat.] or the pay and display near the station.
You are looking for a medium sized clip top box.
