Geocache Description:

Very short nice walk at Wheaton Regional Park around the pond next to the Nature Center.

This geocache is near the Nature Center of Wheaton Regional Park in Silver Spring.

Visit the Nature Center after you find this cache. It's a nice complex and even more fun for the kids. There are plenty of nice hiking trails that start around where the cache is.

This wouldn't be considered a cache-and-dash, but its a pretty easy cache that you don't have to walk far to get to. I have been walking up at this park for years and it has always been one of my favorites. It includes LOTS of nice hiking paths, nature center, botanical gardens, ice-skating rink, dog park, and much, much more. Also, in the summer they have a butterfly show. Great opportunity for photo freaks. Stop off at the show after you grab the cache. You won't be disappointed.

This is my first cache hide and I hope you like it. The area where the cache is hidden can have high muggle density sometimes.

Stealth may be required.

The cache is a bison tube. No trades and BYOP. The cache is green.
