Geocache Description:

This is the starting point for a wee dauner through the 'Big Wood' locally known as the 'Bluebell Planting'.

Situated at the point where the Hags burn disappears under the A71 to flow into the river Irvine. From here you can take a walk past a few holes of the only GOWF club in the world 'Loudoun Gowf Club' before continuing on past old lime kilns and then onto Arclowdun the reputed ancestral home of the mother of William Wallace (Braveheart). There are several caches to be found along the way that are either close to the main path or woodland tracks.
***Please don't leave trackables in this cache***
