Our first cache along the banks of the bow river
The Cache is located across the river from Wyndham-Carseland Provincial Park is a provincial park in Alberta, Canada, located 24.5 km (15.2 mi) south of Strathmore and 4 km (2.5 mi) south of Carseland, along Highway 24.
The park is situated on both shores of the Bow River, at an elevation of 910 m (2,990 ft) and has a surface of 2.4 km2 (0.93 sq mi). It was established on May 02, 1979 and is maintained by Alberta Community Development.
It is home to many wildlife, including beavers, elk, moose, a large variety of birds, coyotes, deer, and others. Hunting is not allowed.
