Geocache Description:



This is my first cache stash.

This is the start of a series for, regrettably, the growing list of fallen heroes in the War on Terror from the Greater Los Angeles area.

When you find this cache, perhaps take a moment to browse the contents of the cache. What were you doing when you were 22 years old? I was in college and working PT at an ice rink in Santa Monica.

This cache would be a wonderful night snatch when the sky is clear and the moon is high, as the night I placed this! Although the area is totally handicap accessible, it would not be possible to find and grab the cache without... (oops! That would be too much of a hint!) Bring a picnic snack as you may want to stay around to enjoy the scenery and dogs at the nearby off-leash park.

About this cache: Please use caution as it will be difficult to retrieve if dropped. The area is lit at night, but the cache would be tricky to spot in the dark. The area is patrolled by private neighborhood security on bikes. Contents: Story behind this cache, and log. BYOP
