Druid Alignment Multi-Cache

Stonehenge is a stone structure built by Iron Age people to coincide with a glacially-carved landscape which seemed to align with the rising sun on the Summer and Winter solstices. (Okay, I know, there is no evidence they were Druids.)

Today, people still return to the ruins to align with what they seek.

The cache may be found in the Essex County Hilltop Reservation, just off of the junction of the Arrowhead & Old Hilltop trails.

THE CACHE IS AN "OFFSET CACHE" AND IS NOT LOCATED AT THE LISTED COORDINATES.

The cache is a small Lock n’ Lock-type container located approximately 50 feet from the posted coordinates. The coordinates may be soft. I had to average due to tree/cloud cover.

The cache contains a log, pencil, souvenir coins and small swaps. It is placed just off the trail, so stealth is required. Please return cache as found.

The cache location is accessible from any of the Hilltop Parking areas. However, the Courter Lane parking area or White Rock Road (Apartment Complex) parking area provides the least strenuous access.
