Olaf looked online for information about Richard I. Itaya, but found only that he was a local architect. We like to think he had something to do with creating the Ohlone Greenway. The original sign for the plaza disappeared during the Plaza remodel, but in 2022 I finally realized that Itaya's name is still associated with this space.
