Hera (griechisch Ἥρα) ist in der griechischen Mythologie die Gattin und gleichzeitig die Schwester von Zeus und somit die Tochter von Kronos und Rhea. Der Name Hera ist die weibliche Form von „Heros“ (Herr).
Zeus ist ein Sohn des Titanenpaares Kronos und Rhea (daher auch der Beiname bzw. Patronym: Kronion - Κρονίων, Kronides - Κρονίδης) und Bruder von Hestia, Demeter, Hera, Hades und Poseidon.
Hera (Greek Ἥρα, Hēra, equivalently Ἥρη, Hērē, in Ionic and Homer) was the wife and one of three sisters of Zeus in the Olympian pantheon of Greek mythology and religion.
Zeus is the child of Cronus and Rhea He is married to Hera.
