With teamajk claiming the First To Solve again, I decided to give her another chance to stash a cache in New York. It would serve Bay area puzzlers right, allowing an East Coast puzzle team to sneak in to our turf to grab an FTS. So, this time she was able to say okay. In addition, a condition was that I am also furnishing a Bay Area cache puzzle to be invocated simultaneously. In this way, teamajk will be required by this cache to use certitude to prove that they did solve the puzzle correctly as designed. So now, what must one do to figure out the puzzle this month? Abstract thinking could get you going on the right track, tho you really must basically agree that referring to the puzzle on both cache pages should be a really good spot. Enjoining the assistance of your friends probably could aide, and it is commonly the easiest method for making some data appear when none was appearing before. This combination of two caches might offer some resistance to tandem puzzle solving. And there are stubborn ones adamant in disjoining themselves from any partnerships, which could be interpreted as failing to fulfill the personal challenge of solving every kablooey Puzzle Challenge hide. Regardless of how you decide to participate, you will still need to determine how to solve the puzzle or puzzles hidden within these two July caches before you can find either of the hidden caches. Special Notes about the 2011 Puzzle Challenge: To be considered for Fastest Solver points, you must verify your solution with certitude. Because certitude may not properly account for joint solutions, please email me team member names in the case of team solutions to ensure proper point accounting. All "point" scoring is arbitrary anyway, subject to change, at the discretion of the cache owner, and probably completely meaningless (unless you just want to be able to brag more at the December banquet). The real challenge is just to see whether you can solve all of these caches by the end of the year. To maintain fairness, hints should not be offered by the cache owner or other solvers until the fifteenth of the month.
