Geocache Description:

Boy Scouts are all about patches; this swap is dedicated to trading BSA patches

This cache is an ammo box containing a log and a collection of BSA patches to trade; usual geocaching custom of trading a patch of equal or greater value for one taken applies.

This cache was placed by the Boy Scouts of Troop 148 chartered by First Presbyterian Church, on whose grounds the cache is located with the church's permission. Please be courteous on church grounds. It would be wise not to seek this cache during high traffic times (such as Sunday morning).

Troop 148 is a large and very active Boy Scout troop with lots of outdoor activities; the Scouts devoted a monthly program to geocaching and navigation in 2010 and conceived of the idea of a troop-hosted geocache for trading patches that resulted in this cache. Troop 148 is in the Columbia River District of the Blue Mountain Council, Boy Scouts of America.
