Geocache Description:

Hike a trail beside a cascading stream to find this waterfall in a hidden valley.

New Flash 19 March 2012 - The path to this cache is eroding and is at risk of being closed. Here is an article about it, including a way to vote in favor of repairing the trail: (visit link)

Steall Waterfall is the second highest in Britain. It can be approached by hiking about a mile up Nevis Gorge. The trail climbs above the stream, with some great views of the water tumbling over boulders below. Suddenly the gorge opens into Steall meadows, and you can see the waterfall as it drops in from a higher side valley.

The cache is at the base of a small rock face, near a fine view of the falls.
