I heard a rumor that there were not enough 4 star terrain caches in and around Stilly, so I decided to create one. The posted coordinates will take you to the headwall of a ravine in Valley View Park. There is only one way in and one way out so please follow the info below.
Parking: N 45° 01.755 W 092° 48.116
Waypoint 1: N 45° 01.771 W 092° 48.003
Waypoint 2: N 45° 01.846 W 092° 48.012
Park in the suggested area and hike down Heartbreak Hill to Waypoint 1. Take a left and hike to Waypoint 2. Then make a left and make your way up the ravine to the posted coordinates. You will encounter numerous obstacles including fallen trees, water, mud, sand and giant boulders. This will account for the high terrain rating. If you attempt it after a heavy rain or with a lot of snow on the ground you might encounter a higher terrain rating than the 4 stars given. I would recommend NOT bringing your dog to this cache. While the park is dog friendly, the ravine is NOT!!! You may also notice that despite the warnings that I recommended this one as good for kids. I used to play in this ravine as a child all the time and while it might be a little rough, it is a very cool place to play.
When you get to the headwall you will see a grate over a storm drain. You will need to gather information here to determine the final coordinates.

AAA = (The number of bars that at some point are vertical x 60) minus 9.
BBB = The number of bars that are NOT bent at ANY point x 387.5.
The final coords will take you for a bit of a walk through the park. The cache is a small PB jar with some camo on it.
