Continuing our kayak series on Lake Chatuge, this time on the islands in Georgia. Although these islands are designated as land managed for forestry, wildlife enhancement, and dispersed recreation some of them are seldom used and have lots of blowdown and deadfall. We have extended the kayak series to Lake Nottely and Lake Blue Ridge. Enjoy!
Cable Island is a 108.3 acre parcel which sits on the Georgia - North Carolina border. We have all ready placed a cache on the NC side but this island is big enough for two.
Cache is a small camoed container with log book and small trade items. There is also a travel/collectible gem.
