This cache introduces you to the old military jetties at Hobsonville Point which is called "The Landing".
A farmers market is here on Saturday and Sunday mornings.
In June 2015 access is via the new Hobsonville Point Road, accessed from Hobsonville Rd or Squadron Drive.
A new ferry service commenced from the new wharf on 3rd February 2013 but as at June 2015 the timetable still caters only for commuters.
Some military activities still take place nearby and these are well fenced off.
Cache is a plastic jar container, about 60mm x 40mm diameter.
First to Find goes to funkymunkyzone, in the dark and rain, within a couple of hours of cache being posted.
