Geocache Description:

A regular sized cache located on the Northern end of the Burns Track at Fergusons Creek.

This cache hopes to encourage others to explore a little more of the area. One option in visiting this cache would be to complete the Burns - Rustlers - Pipeline circuit (approx. 2 - 3 hours) with a short detour at Burns Saddle to complete this cache. Along the way you could also collect Kashmir, Pipers Lament, Weirly Interesting Three and Off The Beaten Track: Burns.

Another, longer, option would be to take Burns (or Rustlers) to Burns Saddle, continue up Burns track before turning onto Swampy Ridge Track, heading to Swampy Summit before taking Leith Saddle track down Swampy Spur to the car park. This circuit would make a great day trip and a good number of caching opportunities.

The weather in this area can change suddenly so make sure you are prepared!
