Set in a small wooded area 1km from the Border between N.I and Donegal is the site of a US Naval Hospital that was used during WWII. The base operated for 4 years from 1941 to 1945 where it was used to train medical Corps groups that landed on the beaches of Normandy on D-day as well as treating wounded casualties from 6th June 1944. Today the hospital is someone's house on private land but there is a plaque near the cache location. There is no need to go onto these premises to get the cache. The Cache is a small container containing a logbook, pencil and a few swaps. Please rehide carefully. Clue may be needed as there is alot of tree cover in this area and Co-ords may be slightly off.
