Greatland Reviewer: Hello Sierra_Dragon:

This cache page has been archived due to the lack of response to one or more prior Reviewer Note(s) about issue(s) with the cache. If you would like to have the cache unarchived, please contact me through my profile as soon as possible before another cache gets placed nearby.

Please note that unarchiving a cache page requires it to go through the same review process as a newly proposed cache, using the cache placement guidelines currently in effect.

Geocache Description:

Roses are Red
Blue Bells are Blue
Next to the river
this cache awaits you

placed under Chugach State Park General Permit 11-007

Bears frequent this area so exercise caution, however during normal daylight hours it's a well visited area so risk is minimal

The cache is hidden in some fairy rough bushes but if you happen to be there at the right time of year you'll know you're in the right spot

Parking is at the Eagle River Mile 7 Lot you will need a state parking pass or $5.

DragonRyder patrol of BSA Scout Troop 243 placed this cache as part of the requirements to earn thier Geocaching merit badge. It's in a waterproof box and while not as roomy as an Ammo box it's adaquate for smaller items. The boys did a good job at comming up with items to place.
In the origional Inventory: 5 DragonRyder Patrol Patches, BSA Good Turn Token, BSA Scout Pin, 2- BSA Great Alaska Council Pencils, Various Canadian Coins, Golf Ball, Dr. Who Micro Universe Game Card, Dr. Who MicroUniverse "Hoix" Figure, BB Shooting Belt Loop, Polished stone, Frank! (don't ask), 2 DragonRyder TB's

It's located near the "put-in" point for countless paddlers looking for a nice easy float down Eagle River.

If any other Boy Scouts look for the cache please bring a patrol badge to exchange. There are 5 of our patrol badges in there for now and I'll reload as needed.

there are a few other trinkets as well for non Scouting geocachers.

congrats to Coloreido for the FTF! that was fast! Kudos on the dedication... 3:30 am in an area known to be a greenbelt transit zone for grizzlys' and Black bears looking for food. you're a braver man than I my friend. :)
