Cache is in a little park established to honor Frankfort's veterans.

If you have lived and driven in Maine for any length of time, you are probably aware that June is the month that every turtle in the state decides to cross the road to find a mate or lay her eggs! More than once, I have stopped the car to help a 'little old lady turtle" cross the street and last year, while caching in Orrington, I rescued a car hit male mud turtle, and released him in much better condition later in the summer. (Legal note: I am not an animal rehaber, but am a volunteer for a licenced facility.) I am not sure how challenging this cache is going to be to find, but I know it will be very challenging to not get 'found' while you are finding it! Just putting it out was a challenge. It seemed like everyone that went in or out of the store was watching. Please use stealth. While you are here, feel free to visit the Waldo Pierce Reading Room and ask the librarian what used to be on this site. (You don't have to answer the question about the site to log the cache.) "Open" flag will put out if the library is open and inside this historic house you can see antique photos of the town and learn much about Frankfort, which used to be one of the ten most prosperous towns in New England. -- Congrats to Upsalquitch on the FTF!
