Thanks for the Magic is a series of various cache types ranging from Micro to Large. There are seven caches that contain a multiple choice question that you will need in order to solve the location of the eighth and final cache. The first 7 caches can be done in any order you choose. These are the first caches we’ve placed, and we created them as a family, with input from our 1, 3 and 6 year olds (so most of them are near playgrounds) and they are all in kid friendly locations. We’re hoping to get these placed in time for the BC Geocaching Blitz 2011; the theme is 'Thanks'. Our thanks go to the magic of geocaching and Harry Potter, which are two things our family enjoys together.
Dobby is very grateful to Harry Potter for saving him. He wants to pay it forward by collecting a cache of socks to free the other house elves. Dobby is appealing to you for help. If you choose to help Dobby, bring a single sock (holes are fine, but please, no dirty laundry). Make sure to check back on this cache in the future to keep track of how many house elves have been freed by Dobby’s Geocaching Freedom Fighters!
This is a good cache to bring the kids to, as it’s on the edge of a playground. Feel free to take a sock if you see a sock-monkey or puppet in its future! Remember to bring paper to write down your clue for the final co-ordinates.
